WhatsApp reaches 900 Million Users
WhatsApp reached a milestone this week, topping 900 million monthly active users. The Facebook-owned cross-platform messaging application reached 800 million MAUs in April, 700 million MAUs and 30 billion messages per day in January and 500 million MAUs in April 2014. Facebook Gains FTC Approval for WhatsApp
Facebook cleared a major regulatory hurdle in its acquisition of WhatsApp on Thursday when the Federal Trade Commission approved the deal with a warning on privacy obligations.
